The proposed theme of the 10th ICPP will be ¡°Bio-security, Food Safety and Plant Pathology: The Role of Plant Pathology in a Globalized Economy¡±. We envision that the Congress will include traditional plenary sessions, symposia, and oral, poster, discussion and workshop sessions. The program will cover the most crucial topics in applied and basic plant pathology from all over the world. |
This Congress will concurrently sponsor the Annual Meeting of the Chinese Society for Plant Pathology.
Specific themes to be considered include Host-pathogen interactions, Fungal diseases, Viral diseases, Prokaryote diseases, Nematode diseases, Post-harvest diseases, Vascular diseases, Tropical plant diseases, Mycotoxins, Molecular diagnostics for plant pathology, Ecology and Disease epidemiology, Disease management, biological control, Chemical control, Genetic manipulation, Resistance breeding, Bio-security and quarantine, etc. The Congress Scientific committee will work with the ISPP Subject Matter Committees to develop a program to incorporate the most current international perspective. Special sessions and Associated Workshops will be organized. We will guarantee that the needs of both developed and developing countries are well represented through the theme of global perspectives. |
