Social Program and Technical Tours
A social program will be prepared to welcome the participants and to help them better understand China and Beijing's culture, including Chinese food. The welcoming reception and a "Beijing Night" dinner show (Farewell Banquet) will be part of the Social Program. Pre- or Post Congress Tours will also be prepared to enable the participants to see with their own eyes the agricultural and rural life of China. Scenic and cultural sites will be included in the proposed routes of the technological tours, such as the Great Wall, the Forbidden City, the Summer Palace, etc. in Beijng, Xian, Guilin, Hangzhou and Suzhou, which are among China's most popular tourist destinations. With daily flights from Beijing to these cities, as well as to all major international cities, travel is very convenient (http://old.cnta.gov.cn/lyen).
